Jen Sanwald, JD, TEP

Principal

Jen Sanwald coordinates and manages all aspects of wealth management and planning for several multi-generational client families. Working with both internal teams and clients’ outside advisors, she monitors and manages clients’ investments, entities and cash flow, and develops, coordinates and implements tax and estate planning transactions. In addition, Jen serves as Chair of the firm’s Trust Committee and sits on the Risk Management Committee. She is a member of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section of the American Bar Association and a practitioner member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Before joining the firm, Jen practiced law at Lewis Rice LLC, primarily focused in trusts and estates, transfer tax planning, and business succession planning. She also completed tax and audit internships at Deloitte. Jen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Truman State University, where she was in the accounting honors fraternity Beta Alpha Psi. She completed her JD at Washington University, where she was on the Dean’s List.

In her free time, Jen enjoys cheering on local sports teams and spending time with her husband, young children and their Bernese mountain dogs. She also volunteers on several charitable boards in addition to serving on the National Investment Committee for her sorority.
