Ty Schwieterman, JD
PrincipalTyler D. Schwieterman (Ty) leads client service teams through the process of listening, consulting, advising and counseling family members across multiple generations as they develop collaborative solutions to the opportunities and problems life presents. With over 11 years at the firm, Ty enjoys the deep relationships he has established with his clients and his colleagues. In addition to his client service responsibilities, Ty is a member of Trust Committee and an original architect and ongoing steward of the firm’s internal training program.
A lifelong Missourian, Ty holds two degrees from the University of Missouri, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a JD. Following law school, he was a tax associate at Arthur Andersen LLP and a manager at a mid-Missouri Registered Investment Advisor. Ty stays connected to Mizzou as a member of the Board of the Tax and Transactional Law Society at the School of Law and as a 15-year Mizzou football season ticket holder. He actively serves his community as a board member of his local church and as a long-time volunteer girls’ soccer coach for a local non-profit soccer club.
Ty enjoys writing and reading essays, cooking food of every imaginable origin, sharing his extensive whisk(e)y collection with his friends and entertaining others with wit or in song. Ty and his wife, Jessie, have three daughters.
